Set up a Samsung Tizen 7 display MVG | Player
Follow these steps to configure Samsung Tizen 7 displays
Step 1 - Tizen 7.0 Startup Guide
These steps appear on every new screen.
Can also be re-run from”menu” - “options” (when in HDMI source)
Upon booting up the screen, choose "hi."
Configure networking; if you are using a "cable" (Ethernet), there is no need to set up WIFI.
The following screen is a disclaimer; click on "skip."
Another question will appear; simply click on "skip."
If you possess the Media Vision Group clone software script (stored on USB), you can initiate the product cloning process here. Otherwise, proceed to the "basic setup. Manual setup.
In the subsequent query regarding "Auto power off," it should be configured to "off."”
In the following query about the playthrough source, choose "custom app."
Choose "https://mvg-tizen.com/mvgprod-v3" and then click on "go."
For the custom "RM Server," opt to "skip."
If there's another question regarding the RM server, simply click on "skip."
Configure the "date and time."
Establish a PIN: "005100."
The primary installation is complete. If you entered the correct URL, the application will initiate automatically and begin playing.
It will indicate "successful"; if not, please contact us.
Upon encountering this window, scan the QR code and forward us the client's "name." This allows us to enroll it and determine the content it should play. It's crucial to include the screen's location in the support email.
Important - enter a phrase similar to:
"%company% Enrolled screen for "%customer%".
This supplies the necessary information for identifying the designated recipient of the screen during its subsequent installation.
Step 2 Setting on/off schedule
Setting the ON/OFF schedule is crucial for the proper functioning of the screen; without these configurations, it will not operate correctly.
Click the “home” button on the remote.
Navigate to the rightmost section of the menu, where you'll find the "on-off" timers.
Select the "on/off timer" button.
Select the "on timer" option.
Click on “on timer 1”
Establish an "everyday" schedule to define a power-on value for the screen. Additionally, set the "source" to "custom app." By default, the on-time is set to 05:00.
Also, configure an "off timer" to define a power-off time for the screen. By default, it is set to 23:00.
Step 3 Configure the NTP (Network Time Protocol)
A very crucial step to ensure the timezone and time are always accurate.
Press the "menu" button on the remote.
Navigate to "system" and then select "time."
Navigate to "NTP setting."
Enable NTP by setting it to "use" and enter "se.pool.ntp.org" to allow the screen to automatically synchronize time through the internet. Remember to click "save," and the screen should reboot.
If you wish to manually start the application, press the "home" button and then launch the application using the "OK" button on the remote.
Step 4. Check “Energy” settings
“Make sure all powersaving features are off.” check “Energy” settings under “Menu”.
System > Power Control > Auto Power On > ON
System > Power Control > Max. Power Saving > OFF
System > Power Control > Standby Control > OFF
System > Power Control > Remote Configuration > ON
System > Power Control > Power Button > POWER ON ONLY
System > Power & Energy Saving > ALL OPTIONS OFF
Step 5. Firmware update
Upgrade the firmware on the screen to 1030, if its not already that version.

Step 6. Start the application (if not to power off)
Start the application, press the "home" button and then launch the application using the "OK" button on the remote.
